The Deacons' Food Cupboard

Anyone in need of groceries to feed their household is welcome to call and ask for assistance from our food cupboard.  The deacons regularly check voicemail messages and will arrange at time for a convenient time that the groceries can be picked up.

Our church runs this program without assistance from the Presbytery or other groups, with the help only of our members and the Boy Scouts, and most  of all our reliable and compassionate Board of Deacons. Contributions in the form of money or canned goods, dry goods, or toiletries, are always welcome.

The Prayer ShawlMinistry

Trinity's Prayer Shawl Ministry, headed by custodian and longtime member Ruth Seganti, has recently celebrated its one year anniversary. In this first year church knitters and crocheters have delivered fifteen prayer shawls to shut-ins and ailing family and friends and 31 shawls or lap blankets to Delaware County Memorial Hospital Cancer Patients, with 9 more to be delivered in December.  Recently, this crafty group has begun to knit and crochet Teddy Bears (see photo left) for children with cancer. All shawls and bears are made prayerfully, and offered as a means of comfort and fellowship for those who need a little extra warmth in their lives.

If you knit or crochet or would like to learn, contact Ruth Seganti at the church's general number.
